On April 29th, 2014 we had “The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony” at our WRTS Corporate Office at 18859 Ventura Blvd in Tarzana . This was a huge moment for our company. We had a representative from the Mayor’s office, the Council members office, the Assembly office and the President of the Chamber attend with many other professionals and ambassadors of the chamber, as well as family and loved ones. Following the ribbon cutting was our event for our Non Profit MBRTS at McDonalds in Tarzana. They generously donated 20% of all food ordered between the hrs 4pm to 6pm. We look forward to the future and opening up a WRTS in an area close to you! In 2014, We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym was honored with being the Grand Club Sponsor for the April 26th, Walk Now for Autism Speaks event. Autism Speaks is an autism advocacy organization in the United States that sponsors autism research and conducts awareness and outreach activities aimed at families, governments, and the public. They host national events year round to increase autism awareness and help provide support for families in the Autism Community. The Walk Now event took place at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA and was a huge success. More than 55,000 people showed their support and gathered to create awareness for the autism community. In the end, the walk helped to raise $1.68 Million for Autism Speaks, with the We Rock the Spectrum team raising more than $6,000! Many of the We Rockers were honored to go on stage and lead the crowd in a warm up walk to kick off the event. We lead everyone through stretches, jumps, and cheers …
I cannot believe it, but on December 26th WRTS has became a nationwide franchise. Gail Field is our first out of state owner. She is in Boca Raton, Florida, which I found so ironic as we have family there that lives 5 minutes away. She is lovely, devoted, dedicated and will make a great owner. I look forward to having New York soon on our list! We now have 10 locations, I just cannot believe it as my dream was to hit 10 this year and we did it. Don’t stop believing. hold on to your dreams!

They instantly feel a sense of relief knowing that there is someone else — some place else — that understands. Many parents who have children with autism struggle to find a safe space that understands how to handle the meltdowns, difficult transitions, elopement, and more that come with autism spectrum disorder. When our CEO and Founder, Dina Kimmel, created the first We Rock the Spectrum, she did so because she knew having a place that was safe for children with autism and special needs was necessary. What she didn’t know was how much these words would resonate with so many others alike. It’s not that the We Rock the Spectrum gyms are built for only …
