On July 10, 2021, We Rock the Spectrum –  Northeast Philadelphia re-opened its doors to its community! We Rock the Spectrum –  Northeast Philadelphia is now offering Open Play, private play sessions, and respite care to children of ALL abilities and their families to get the sensory play they need. 

On their grand re-opening day, WRTS – Northeast Philadelphia received an enormous amount of love and support from not only their community, but multiple media outlets including Metro Philly, Lower Bucks Times, CBS Philly, and the Northeast Times, who came out to cover this exciting celebration! There was even a special appearance by Swoop, the Philadelphia Eagles Autism Foundation mascot, who came to get in on the action!

Kelly and Sean McAllister are the new owners of We Rock the Spectrum – Northeast Philadelphia. Kelly has experience working in the hospitality industry and all of her work has revolved around community and relationship building. Her husband, Sean, is a family man who was born and raised in the area, and together they are parents to three wonderful children: Logan, Jackson, and Cameron. Having family members with special needs, Kelly has always longed for a way to help kids engage and grow. When she first visited We Rock the Spectrum, she immediately knew she wanted to be a part of their mission to have children of all abilities enjoy and play in a sensory-safe environment. Now, both Kelly and Sean are excited to start their franchise journey with We Rock the Spectrum and provide families in Northeast Philadelphia a truly ROCKIN’ place to play.

We Rock the Spectrum – Northeast Philadelphia has already seen great outcomes with bookings in just its first week of re-opening its doors. Throughout their grand re-opening, local families had the chance to enjoy the indoor sensory facility, its 12 unique pieces of sensory equipment, sensory-based toys, arts & crafts, and tasty treats generously provided by local businesses. This indoor kids’ gym is offering inclusive Open Play Sessions, Private Facility Rentals, Respite Care, Group Therapy, and Excursions.
