September 5th was an exciting day for the Asheville community as it marked the opening of We Rock the Spectrum – Asheville as a Private Sensory Facility Rental! And the excitement didn’t end there! Both WLOS ABC 13 and AVL Today gave WRTS Asheville a shout-out on this grand opening day, proving just how important a resource like this is to the local community. Asheville We Rockers of ALL abilities and their families will be able to book low capacity services, such as private sessions, Open Play sessions, and respite, throughout the upcoming months. 

Vanessa and Mark Albano are the new owners of We Rock the Spectrum – Asheville. They are parents to five neurodiverse children. Since their fourth child was diagnosed with high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder, they knew they wanted to create a community center  where families could gather and watch their children grow, experience inclusion, and make new friends. When they came across We Rock the Spectrum, they knew they had to bring this amazing opportunity and resource to their community. They look forward to providing a fun and inclusive space where ALL kids are welcome to Asheville.
