At We Rock the Spectrum, our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for ALL children. From our sensory kids’ gym to our community events, we are constantly challenging ourselves to provide more opportunities for the special needs community. That’s why we are so excited to host our 4th annual FREE event, the 2020 Rockin’ Resource Fair! 

Our past 3 Rockin’ Resource Fairs have been HUGE successes and we have met so many incredible We Rockers. This year is going to be even bigger and better! Even though this event is open and free to the public, our aim is to provide resources for families and children with autism and special needs.

We’ve got 5 excellent reasons for you to visit this year’s Rockin’ Resource Fair and have even grouped them off into zones so you will know exactly where to go!

1. The Sensory Zone

This will be the zone to check out if you’re ready for some good old fashioned sensory safe play! We will have our fully equipped We Rock on Wheels bus, a bouncy house, sensory-play equipment, and more! Kids will enjoy an inclusive play environment with volunteers on-hand to help out with any child needing special attention.

2. The Arts & Crafts Zone

There’s no better souvenir than one that you get to help make! We will have an entire section dedicated to arts & crafts. This zone will allow children to work their motor skills through activities like painting, jewelry making, coloring, and more! There will be both guided sessions and open time for kiddos to be as creative as they can be.

3. The Calming Zone

There may be a point where your little one just needs a little break from all the excitement. That’s why we have made sure that there is a zone for anyone who might be experiencing sensory overload to chill for a minute. With shade, bean bags, books, and other sensory equipment, the Calming Zone will create a soothing environment away from the crowd. Headphones and other items will be provided.

4. The Food Zone

No fair is complete without delicious food! There will be dozens of local vendors and food trucks on-site to make sure you’re well-fed and well-fueled! Foods like pizza, grilled cheese, ice cream, donuts, and more will be available. For those with dietary restrictions, we will be offering gluten-free options.

5. The Music Zone

It’s not the Rockin’ Resource Fair without a place to ROCK out! This year, we are excited to feature a live music performance by Orlando Boom!There will also be dancing, a sensory drum circle, and much more!
