Rain, rain, go away: We find an inside place to play – Journal Review

June 7, 2017 | In:

It just seems like Mother Nature is really working against us recently. Rain seems to be in forecast more days than not and that makes it difficult to find summer activities for the kids now that school is out, and adding to that challenge, trying to find indoor activities for someone with special needs.

Here is a small list of places that are close enough to enjoy a rainy day, maybe even with the entire family:

We Rock the Spectrum (3526 Osborne Lane Suite A, Lafayette). We Rock the Spectrum provides children with a fun and motivational environment to help them in the areas of strength, movement, sensory processing, communication, positive behavior modification, social interactions and self-care skills. Their unique equipment assists all children in their neurological growth and development. They are open 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
