Svetlana & Eugene Kharitonov are the gym owners of We Rock the Spectrum – Laguna Hills.

As you may know, We Rock the Spectrum has been growing exponentially over the past year. 2014 was a big year for us, and it looks like 2015 will only be bigger and better. We started 2015 with a new pair of gym owners located in Orange County and we couldn’t be more excited to head down to the OC.

What makes We Rock the Spectrum so special? The owners we have been lucky to meet and connect with whether they are parents of autistic children or not. Even though Eugene and Svetlana are new to the We Rock family, it feels like they’ve been a part of our family and growing franchise since the beginning.

We’re excited to finally bring We Rock the Spectrum to Orange County and to introduce you to new gym owners, Eugene and Svetlana Kharitonov. We took some time to interview Eugene and Svetlana and here’s what they had to say:

1. How did you hear about We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym?

We learned about We Rock the Spectrum through word of mouth. Our good friends, Alex and Yana are actually the owners of the Simi Valley location and we’ve been fans ever since.

2. What’s your professional background?

Eugene: My background is in business and I have a Business degree. However, I am currently working for the government in immigration services. While Svetlana has her law degree but at the moment is raising our children at home.

3. What inspired you to become franchisees?

Whenever we heard our friends, Alex and Yana talk about their new venture, we were immediately drawn to the idea. It seemed like what they were doing was so inspirational and admirable that we were ultimately interested in learning more, and so we made the inquiry and called Dina. We thought it’d be a good business opportunity as well as a chance for us to make a difference in our community. We’re very excited to embark on this new journey.

4. How do you see WRTS benefiting your community?

Well, we did some research and spoke to a few people down here in Orange County and soon realized that there is a great need for something like We Rock the Spectrum. There isn’t anything like it here that is specifically geared towards the special needs community. Also, we love how family oriented We Rock the Spectrum is, it feels cozy and intimate. Not only can the kids play and have fun, but it also offers a place for parents to relax too. We love that about We Rock the Spectrum.

5. Name three words to describe yourselves as a couple/family?

We’d like to think that we’re funny or fun to be around, very optimistic, and extremely family oriented.
