It’s been a ROCKIN’ summer for us at We Rock the Spectrum. From Grand Openings, to awesome events, to expanding internationally, let’s catch up on everything we’ve been up to!
Recent Grand Openings
We Rock the Spectrum – Waretown
The first of our Summer Grand Openings was in Waretown New Jersey with gym owners, Jeff Kachuba, and Mary Topoleski. It was a day full of fun and surprises for the whole community.
We Rock the Spectrum – Federal Way
We celebrated our newest Washington location in Federal Way on July 28th. Owner, Colin Hirsch, is a Special Education Teacher who saw the need of a place where all children of all abilities could play to the fullest in his community!
We Rock the Spectrum – Placerville
This location happens to be extra special as it was opened in our CEO & Founders hometown! Owners, Keri and her Husband, Patrick, learned about the importance of sensory processing from one of their foster children and instantly knew they had to bring a WRTS location to their community!
Lastly this summer, we welcomed another location in California! Katie Haines, along with her Husband, Ted, are the owners of this this gym. They have credited their son Xavier, for introducing them to We Rock the Spectrum and showing them the immediate need they could fill for everyone in Pomona!
Our First Annual Rock Walk!
Our Rockin’ Resource Fair was such a huge success last year that we took it and made it even better! We added more vendors, more activities, and a walk to commemorate autism awareness month! The event was aimed at connecting families with valuable resources – from special needs to legal services to education. It was an amazing day with over 1,000 participants! We are so excited to continue this tradition every year, and hopefully in every corner of the country.
International Expansions
In December of 2016, we made our first international expansion to Malaysia. This year, we are excited to announce we have officially entered our third international location with the opening of We Rock the Spectrum – Preston VIC in Australia!
Our newest international gym owners, Sally and her brother Marcus Johnson have been rockin’ it since their Grand Opening on August 11th!
What’s Coming Soon!
We’re just a few short weeks away from our next Grand Openings! We have We Rock the Spectrum – Chicago/Palatine coming to Illinois, and We Rock the Spectrum – Melawati Mall coming to Malaysia! Both Gyms will officially be open for business on October 6th and just a few weeks after we have We Rock the Spectrum – Daphne opening on October 21st!!
