Gabriel Kimmel high school graduation – inspiring autism graduation story

A Milestone Worth Celebrating: Gabriel Kimmel Graduates High School!

July 22, 2025 | In: Autism Resources

At We Rock the Spectrum, we believe in celebrating every milestone — big or small — especially when it comes to the incredible journeys of children and teens on the Autism Spectrum.

Today, we’re beyond proud to share an autism graduation story that’s not only personal to our hearts but deeply inspiring to the community we’ve built around inclusion: Gabriel Kimmel, the original Rockboy and son of our CEO and Founder, Dina Kimmel, has officially graduated high school.

Gabriel’s journey reflects resilience, growth, and neurodivergent pride. Diagnosed with autism at a young age, Gabriel has grown into a powerful symbol of what’s possible when children receive support and are free to be themselves. He grew up inside the very first We Rock the Spectrum gym in Tarzana, CA, and now he’s walking across the stage as a proud autistic graduate. This moment is nothing short of incredible.

Why This Autism Graduation Story Matters

Gabriel’s graduation reminds every parent, therapist, educator, and child that neurodivergent students can succeed. When supported by inclusive education, a loving family, and a strong community, then anything becomes possible.

More importantly, this isn’t just a personal win — it’s a celebration of the entire autism community. In fact, it’s a shared victory for everyone who believes in creating spaces where all children can thrive, play, and grow.

From the flagship gym in Tarzana to families around the world, Gabriel Kimmel’s story continues to inspire and uplift.

To Gabriel — our Rockboy, our graduate, our light — we’re endlessly proud of you. And to every parent reading this wondering “what will the future hold?” — let this be a reminder: there is hope, there is progress, and there is joy.

Gabriel’s Journey is Our Story

Gabriel’s graduation doesn’t just mark a family milestone — it reflects the heart of why We Rock the Spectrum exists. His journey helped shape our mission: to create a world where all children are seen, supported, and celebrated.
